Why we call tamarind as tamarind and not as guava or mango.
The story goes like this.
Mahmud Ghaznavi raided India several times about 17.
In one of his raids he took Tamarind with him because he and his soldiers liked the taste very much.
When he reached his own country the loot was appreciated and so was the taste of Tamarind.
When people asked Mahmud the name of the fruit he could not tell the same.
But being a king he could not show his ignorance.
So he Said that this is TAMARE HIND.
In Arabic tamare means fruit
And later it became TAMARIND.
Similarly Neem is botanically named as Azadirachta indica beacuse in India neem grows freely all over the country and this botanical name comes from AZAD -DARAKHT - E - HIND. The freely growing tree of India.

Patience Makes Marriages Made in Heaven
The most beautiful of the relationships i e marriage is under great stress. The increasing divorce rates, domestic violence, emerging stricter laws, womens right organizations, talk about male chauvinism and bla bla. Among all these the very basic essence of love has been lost which is the rock foundation of marriage. Two people tie knots or exchange rings with a lot of promises and dreams. But somewhere they lose all the promises and dreams and start living so mechanically forced by the pace of life that all the promises and dreams vent in to air. It is replaced by arguments, quarrels, violence, seperation, extra maritals etc. The basic of life to live and live happily together vanishes. Among all these what suffers most is the LOVE, CHILDREN and MARRIAGE. It is not very difficult to maintain love and passion. lot of magazines advise you on that. But it is the PATIENCE that is wearing out of the human character which is causing it all. We want to live life like an ATM machine "CARD IN MONEY OUT". Marriage requires patience of the mountains. If one partner is not able to comprehend the other one has to be patient. Its a life of giving space and being patient with each other. God has not made human nature so cruel that it does not understand the good deeds done to it. But we are getting so impatient that even a stare may prompt a shoot out. So friends learn to be patient with your spouse. Do not forget the very basic principle of humanity that your spouse deserves the most. Do it and God will blossom your marriage like a bouquet of red roses. Its only the patience that will help us.
